How do I temporarily turn off my profile?
To ’turn off’ your profile so that other members cannot see it, please follow these steps:
- Log into Dating-Connectdirector with your username and password.
- Click on the ’Control Panel’ or ’Edit Profile’ link on the left hand side of the page.
- Click on ’Suspend Account’ that appears in Blue and follow the instruction.
If you later want to reverse it, go back into the same page and click on ’Activate Account’.
How do I permanently remove my listing and delete my account?
We hope you don’t want to leave Dating-Connectdirector unless you have found that special someone. Regardless of the reason, to permanently delete your profile, go to ’Control Panel’ and click on ’unregister me’ link.
NOTE
This is not recommended in case you later change your mind. Moreover, you can safely suspend your account and no one will be able to view your profile.
Profile Status
What does "Unconfirmed" mean?
Unconfirmed means you have not confirmed your Email address. Please click on the confirmation Email that was sent to you when you registered on Dating-Connectdirector or changed your Email address. Once you confirm your Email address, your profile will be automatically converted to Approval mode for human-review by our team. If you haven’t confirmed your Email, you can request another Confirmation Email by contacting us to request another confirmation or to confirm your profile.
What does "Approval" mean?
Your profile is waiting to be human-reviewed. You may read your messages, search, etc. However your profile is not "visible" to other users until it is approved and made Active by a profile moderator.
What does "Active" mean?
Active profiles are members whose profiles can be viewed by all members on Dating-Connectdirector and show up in the search results.
NOTE
Only Active profiles are visible !
What does "Suspended" mean?
Suspended is the status when a member chooses temporary not to have their profile displayed publicly on Dating-Connectdirector. Usually a member will "Suspend" their profile when they have met someone they are interested in or they will not be online for a while.
What does "Rejected" mean?
Rejected is when a member has uploaded obscene or pornographic photos or has tried to "sneak" contact information or website links into their profile. Rejection is a temporary freeze on the account made by the admin of Dating-Connectdirector until the profile content conforms to our standards. If your profile has been "rejected," change the content and resubmit for admin approval.

How do I search for other members?
For search the database u can choose several search methods.
The most common are
- direct -- by username and/or by id
If you are looking for a specific person and you remember their username or id, enter it in the ’User Name’ or ’User Id’ field at the top of the Search Page.
- advanced listings -- by choosing other selection criteria.
If you are not looking for a specific person, but rather someone who matches a description you give, then select other fields on the Extensive Search Page. You can search by almost any category of information that we keep track of, including sex, location, languages spoken, etc.
Other search methods are
- browse profiles using the "Browse Women" and "Browse Men" buttons
- direct link from a cupid mail
- view a member’s profile from a virtual kiss
- view a member’s profile from the chat room
- view a member’s profile in the rate photos area
How do I view a member’s profile?
Just click on the photo or the magnifying glass icon and a separate internet browser window will open with a member’s profile details.
How do I view additional member photos?
Click on the "More photos" link below the member’s thumbnail photo.
- A new window will open and you can click on the numbers to view the extra photos.
Be sure to allow pop-ups for Dating-Connectdirector or you may not be able to view the extra photos. You can also rate other members photos in the "Rate photo".

- Enter the username of the member you wish to contact into the ’username’ search field, or select your search preferences and click on the ’Search’ button to see your results.
- Click on a ’Contact’ icon below the member’s summary profile and proceed accordingly. Type the Subject, Write your message, and click on ’Send’, to send your message.
NOTE
Standard (Non Paying) members: Standard members are allowed to view as many numbers of profiles as they wish but cannot email any member.
How do I get emails from other members?
Dating-Connectdirector uses a sophisticated emailing system. When you get mail, it goes into your mailbox on Dating-Connectdirector, and you are also automatically notified in your private email address. This will present you with a link back to Dating-Connectdirector, where you can then log in as usual to read your mail.
NOTE
The sender does not get to see your private email address. This double emailing is driven by the database and guards our privacy policy.
How long do new messages remain in my Inbox?
New messages remain inside your Inbox for 60 days. After 60 days, our database will automatically purge old messages, virtual kisses and profile views to keep Dating-Connectdirector running fast and smooth. Your Inbox can store up to 50 messages at a time so be sure to copy and paste any messages to your desktop computer that you wish to archive. If you have reached the limit of your Inbox, new messages will begin to overwrite the oldest messages.
How do I prevent Dating-Connectdirector E-mail from going into my junk mail folder?
To be certain messages you receive from Dating-Connectdirector do not go directly to your Junk or Bulk mail, make sure you designate www.dating-connectdirector.com as a "safe" or "trusted site" If you use a spam filter, please set your filter to accept messages from Dating-Connectdirector.
Too many members contact / how do I disable the message notifications?
Go to "My Profile" and turn off the message notifications. You will not receive any match or new message notifications.

What is the Cupid Service and how do I use it?
The Cupid service allows you, as an Dating-Connectdirector member to select a variety of personal characteristics that you’re looking for in a person, and the site will then notify you via emails of new Dating-Connectdirector members who match your preferences. In other words, you will receive prompt notification of new members without having to come to the site every day to look for them yourself.
How do I turn on/off my Cupid emails?
